The awning blind provides optimum protection from overheating while, at the same time, allowing some light in. Fakro awning blinds reflect the outside and not the inside light. They therefore protect against heat build-up on sunny days, providing relief for the eyes and protection from the harmful effects of strong reflected light, which is especially important when working with computers.

The awning blind is made up of durable, weather-resistant glass fibre fabric. The fabric is roller mounted, spring loaded and fitted inside an aluminium casing which is installed at the top of the window. This enables easy control of the blind and makes it possible to use a wider fabric, thus providing additional protection against ingress light.

To control the blind a 80cm long rod is supplied. There is also available a rod ZSZ which is 150 cm long.

AMZ awning blind fits centre-pivot FT and top hung FPP windows. AMK awning blind is designed for FK top-hung windows, and AME fits emergency escape windows FE.

AMZ, AMK, AME awning blinds are available in two groups:

Group 1: IN three colours (material with 10% relative fabric transparency)

Group 2: Available in two colours (with 1% relative fabric transparancy)
